Check where a short link really goes
Short links hide their destination. Paste one from any shortener — Lyzo, bit.ly, TinyURL or others — and we'll follow every redirect for you and show where it ends up, without opening the page in your browser.

How the link checker works
- Paste a short link from any service and press “Check link”.
- Our server requests the link and follows each redirect, up to 5 hops, without running any scripts from those pages.
- You see the full redirect chain, the final destination and whether it is flagged in threat databases.
Why check a short link before clicking
- Phishing hides behind short links — a short link can make a fake login page look harmless.
- Avoid unwanted downloads — see if a link points straight to a file before you open it.
- Spot redirect chains — links that bounce through several trackers or domains are worth a second look.
- Know if a link still works — find out if a Lyzo link has expired or been removed.
Link checker questions
Does checking a link open the website?
Our server requests each URL in the chain to read its response code and redirect, but it doesn't run scripts or show you the page. Nothing opens in your browser.
Do you keep the links I check?
No. Links you check are not stored.
How do I preview a Lyzo link without this tool?
Add + to the end of any Lyzo short link — for example lyzo.cc/aZ3kQ9x+ — to see its destination without being redirected.
